How It Works

Our compression engine uses your browser for small images and secure server processing for larger files. Either way, nothing is stored.
Download
The compressed file is generated in memory and offered for download. Then it's gone forever.
What We Track (And Why)
Session Cookie
A random ID to track your daily usage quota (10 files/day on free tier). No personal information. Expires after 1 year of inactivity.
IP Address (Hashed)
Your IP is SHA-256 hashed to prevent quota abuse. We cannot reverse this to identify you. Used only for free tier enforcement.
Usage Count
Number of files compressed today (resets at midnight UTC). No file metadata, names, or content is stored.
